AIR ATOMIZING NOZZLES

Air atomizing nozzles, also called pneumatic nozzles, use compressed air to break liquids into a fine mist or spray. Their primary function is to create a uniform and controlled spray, where the compressed air breaks the liquid into small droplets.

AL

  • Full cone spray pattern

  • External mix of air and liquid

  • Spray angles: 20° – 25°

  • Air pressure determines droplet size

AL15

  • Flat spray pattern

  • External mix of air and liquid

  • Spray angles: 45° – 60°

  • Air pressure controls droplet size and spray length

AL30

  • Full cone spray pattern

  • Internal mix of air and liquid

  • Spray angle: 70°

  • Air and liquid pressure determine droplet size

AL45

  • Full cone spray pattern

  • Internal mix of air and liquid

  • Spray angles: 15° – 20°

  • Air and liquid pressure determine droplet size

AL60

  • Flat spray pattern

  • Internal mix of air and liquid

  • Spray angles: 90° – 110°

  • Air and liquid pressure determine droplet size

Optional accessories for AL nozzles

  • Metering needle: for fine control of atomization

  • Manual clean out: manually clears the nozzle orifice

  • Manual clean out / Shutoff: manually clears the nozzle orifice and fully closes it

  • Various custom bodies (2C, 3C, 3D, 4D, 5F)

  • Wall mounting nut: for mounting AL nozzles along walls

SNA/SAD

  • For finer atomization of oils and liquids

  • Full cone spray pattern

  • Resistant to clogging due to large nozzle orifice

  • Flow rate, spray angles, and droplet size can be slightly adjusted by changing the air pressure
