SWIRL AIR

The Delavan Swirl-Air™ range of spray nozzles has been designed to maximize hydraulic and pneumatic energy for liquid atomization at relatively low pressure. They are used in many industrial applications, ranging from food processing to steel production.

Various spray angles are available. The flow rate can be adjusted by modifying the air and liquid pressure, while the droplet size is determined by the air-to-liquid volume ratio.

Right Angle

  • Full cone spray pattern

  • External mix of compressed air and liquid

  • Spray angle: 20° – 25°

  • Air pressure determines the droplet size

Right Angle concentric

  • Flat spray pattern

  • External mix of compressed air and liquid

  • Spray angle: 45° – 60°

  • Air pressure determines the droplet size and spray pattern length

Inline

  • Full cone spray pattern

  • Internal mix of compressed air and liquid

  • Spray angle: 70°

  • Air pressure and liquid pressure determine the droplet size

Inline - carbide coated

  • Full cone spray pattern

  • Internal mix of compressed air and liquid

  • Spray angle: 15° – 20°

  • Air pressure and liquid pressure determine the droplet size
